Ingredients

3/4: cup sugar

3/4: cup firmly packed brown sugar

1: cup margarine or butter, softened

2: teaspoons vanilla

2: eggs

1 2/3: cups all purpose or unbleached flour

1: teaspoon baking soda

1/2: teaspoon salt

2: cups rolled oats

2: cups miniature candy-coated chocolate pieces

1: cup raisins

Directions

1 Heat oven to 325°F. In large bowl, combine sugar, brown sugar and margarine; beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs; blend well.
2 Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oats, chocolate pieces and raisins; mix well. Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls 3 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3 Bake at 325°F. for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets.
