Ingredients

lb. lean ground turkey
1/2
cup refrigerated shredded hash brown potatoes
1/4
cup sliced green onions

tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

teaspoons minced garlic
1/4
teaspoon seasoned salt
1/8
teaspoon pepper
1/4
cup mayonnaise or salad dressing, if desired
4
whole wheat hamburger buns, split
4
lettuce leaves
4
slices tomato, if desired

Directions

  1. 1 In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except mayonnaise, buns and lettuce; mix well. Shape into 4 (1/2-­inch-­thick) patties. Place patties on broiler pan.
  2. 2 Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 165°F.
  3. 3 Spread mayonnaise on cut sides of buns. Place lettuce, turkey burgers and tomato on bottom halves of buns. Cover with top halves of buns.
