Ingredients

Brownies

oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/2
cup margarine or butter

cups sugar

teaspoons vanilla

eggs
1
cup all purpose flour
1/4
teaspoon salt

Glaze

1/2
cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1
tablespoon margarine or butter

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9-inch pan. In small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate and 1/2 cup margarine, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat; cool 10 minutes or until slightly cooled.
  2. 2 In medium bowl, combine sugar, vanilla and eggs; beat until light and fluffy. Add flour, salt and chocolate mixture; blend well. Spread in greased pan.
  3. 3 Bake at 350°F. for 30 to 38 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled.
  4. 4 In small saucepan, melt glaze ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Drizzle glaze over cooled brownies. Let stand until set. Cut into bars.
