She filled our first hot dogs with the sliced American Cheese Slices. She went forth filling the hot dogs with various flavored mashed potatoes, potato salad, even a spicy dip using Velveeta and spicy tomatoes. When my son was in Boy Scouts, we worked on this version with the American Cheese Slices, then wrapped in Crescent Dough cooked in a Dutch Oven over a campfire - until the dough is golden brown. Wh

These look even cooler when you use the breadstick dough and spiral the dough down the hot dogs :-) and *bonus* you can do 2 packs of hotdogs with one tube of breadsticks!

This is a replay of a recipe (that I actually used for my son's birthday in 1992 !)from when you used to make cornbread sticks - exactly - the cornbread was MUCH better!
