Ingredients

(12-oz.) pkg. fresh cranberries

medium apples, chopped

cup firmly packed brown sugar

cup chopped onion

cup golden or dark raisins

tablespoon grated gingerroot

(3-inch) cinnamon stick

cup water
1/4
cup cider vinegar

(4-oz.) decorative crocks or jars

Directions

  1. 1 In large saucepan, combine all ingredients; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 40 to 45 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Cool at least 3 hours.
  2. 2 Remove cinnamon stick. Spoon chutney into crocks; cover tightly. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
