Expert Tips

*All breads made with at least 8 grams whole grain. At least 48 grams whole grain recommended daily.

A rolling pin works great to roll out the dough, since it helps to press the seams together.

I used Trader Joe's chicken sausage , apple with chardonnay. They were delicious! It was hard for me to get the rolls to stay at the 6 inch shape. I found that if I stacked 2 rolls I could roll it out better. The last one became a pizza because I gave up trying to keep it from separating once I added the ingrediants

I made these last night. They were delcious! I used Trader Joe's apple chicken sausage with chardonnay. I admit I had to use the rolling pin and they kept shrinking! I found if I set 2 rolls on top of each other and than rolled it out it worked much better for me. But since it was kind of hard for me to get them to stay rolled out at 6 inches I made the last one a pizza!

This is a great recipe. The best thing about a calzone is that you can fill it with just about anything that you want to and it is delicious! Using Pillsbury dough makes it so easy and good. I make these at least once a week and they never taste the same twice!
