Expert Tips

Julienne carrots are available in bags in the produce section of most grocery stores. If they're unavailable, substitute shredded carrots.

Add Italian flair to the soup by garnishing each serving with a teaspoon of pesto.

Very good. My family loved it! I will definitely make this again. I made 2 substitutions. I used boneless/skinless chicken breasts(3-4 depending on the size)and just pre-cooked them ahead of time and used refrigerated tortellini. Worked great and it was delicious.
