The breading does not stick on the tenders and I tried both the egg wash and the mayo. Plus the bacon, and I used real bacon, got way too crispy. Love most of their recipes, but this is not a keeper.

VERY GOOD RECIPE, didn't change a thing.

Delicious chicken tenders. Instead of using the egg, I brushed the tenders with mayo which makes the chicken juicy and instead of using breadcrumbs, I crushed salad croutons (garlic and onion) which gave the tenders more taste.

Here's a Thank You shout out to the Pillsbury test kitchen for coming up with quick, easy, yummy recipes. There's always ways to make it your own, but I love the inspiration your staff and products provide.

People, MAKE YOUR OWN BREADCRUMBS! I use regular older bread cut into small crouton sized pieces and put them in a plastic container with e.v. olive oil and garlic salt. Shake them around a bit then put them on a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Take them out and put them in a plastic zippered baggie and crush them with a rolling pin. You will NOT be disappointed. If you have trouble getting the bacon pieces to stick, just use a whole piece of bacon and wrap it around your chicken and it will cook in the oven with the chicken.
