These 3-ingredient dessert bars are so versatile you can make them with whatever pie filling you're craving.

Pillsbury™ Ready to Bake!™ Big Deluxe Classics™ refrigerated oatmeal raisin cookies

can (21 oz) apple pie filling

to 10 caramels or 2 to 3 tablespoons caramel sauce

Steps

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Line 8-inch square pan with cooking parchment paper.
  • 2 Press 9 cookies evenly in bottom of pan to create crust. Top with pie filling. Crumble remaining 3 cookies over pie filling.
  • 3 Bake 45 minutes or until edges are bubbly. Remove from oven to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  • 4 To make caramel drizzle, microwave caramels in microwavable bowl on High about 1 minute or until melted. Drizzle over cooled bars. Cut into 3 rows by 3 rows for 9 rows or 4 rows by 3 rows for 12 bars.

Expert Tips

Other pie filling can be used instead of the apple. You can try blueberry, peach, cherry or whatever you prefer.

Finely chopped walnuts or pecans can be added to the cookie dough crust for a touch of crunch to the bars.
