Fill bowls with toppings for dipping. Some of our faves: hot fudge, caramel sauce, melted peanut butter, chopped nuts, colored sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, flaked coconut, graham cracker crumbs. Keep hot toppings at temp with a mini slow cooker, a slow cooker with three sections or a fondue pot.
Instead of setting out toothpicks or skewers, which will easily pull out of the doughnuts, add color to the bar with jewel-toned disposable cocktail forks (available at your local party supply store or online at punchbowl.com).
