Turn crispy triangles into a witch's topper with a squeeze of chipotle cream cheese and sweet pepper confetti.

Ingredients

cups blue tortilla chips (about 4.5 oz)

oz (half an 8-oz package) cream cheese, softened
1/8
teaspoon chipotle chile powder

tablespoons chopped roasted red bell peppers (from a jar)

tablespoons sliced ripe olives, halved

tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Steps

  • 1 Spread tortilla chips on large serving platter.
  • 2 In small bowl, place cream cheese. Stir in chipotle chile powder until well mixed.
  • 3 In small resealable food-storage plastic bag, spoon cream cheese mixture; seal bag. Cut off tiny corner of bag. Squeeze bag to drizzle mixture over tortilla chips. Top with remaining ingredients.

Expert Tips

To quickly soften cream cheese, remove it from the wrapper and place on microwavable plate; microwave uncovered on Low (10%) about 20 seconds or just until softened.

You can determine the spice level of these nachos by increasing or decreasing the chipotle chile powder.
