Tomato Pizza Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 (15-oz.) can pizza sauce
  • 1 cup chopped Italian plum tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

    In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients; mix well.

    Cook over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot cooked pasta.

  • Look for diced pepperoni near the packaged sandwich meats at the grocery store.
  • For extra pizza flavor, add sliced mushrooms, sliced olives and drained cooked Italian sausage to the sauce; heat thoroughly.
