Ingredients

cups All Purpose Flour

teaspoons baking powder

teaspoon baking soda
1/4
teaspoon salt

cup (3 medium) chopped Italian plum tomatoes
3/4
cup nonfat plain yogurt
1/4
cup chopped fresh basil

tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
1
egg or 2 egg whites

    Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch round cake pan with nonstick cooking spray.

    Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well.

    In small bowl, combine tomatoes, yogurt, basil, margarine and egg; blend well. Add to flour mixture; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Spoon dough evenly into sprayed pan.

    Bake at 400°F. for 22 to 28 minutes or until bread is golden brown and center is firm to the touch. Cut into wedges. Serve warm.
