In medium bowl, mix strawberries, 1/4 cup granulated sugar and the lime peel. Let stand 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, heat oven to 375°F. On ungreased cookie sheet, place biscuits with sides touching. Sprinkle tops with 1 tablespoon granulated sugar. Bake 26 to 28 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
In chilled small bowl, beat whipping cream and powdered sugar with electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form. Stir kiwifruit into strawberry mixture.
To serve, split biscuits. Spoon fruit mixture and whipped cream onto biscuit bottoms; replace tops.
