The ingredients that make up hot pepper sauce vary by brand. Some consist of nothing more than ground chili peppers in vinegar, while others include additional seasonings. Read the label and experiment with different brands to find your favorite.
Use any canned or fresh bean in this recipe, or substitute fresh or frozen corn kernels for one of the varieties of beans.
Garnish each serving with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese, minced fresh parsley and minced green onions.
