Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons French salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup cubed cooked chicken (1 ounce)
  • 2 tablespoons shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 of a small carrot
  • 1 cup torn prewashed salad greens

Steps

    In 1-quart plastic container with tight-fitting lid, layer ingredients in order given. Cover tightly. Refrigerate.

    When ready to serve, shake container to toss salad.

  • Instead of using the grater to shred the carrots yourself, you can buy them already shredded in a bag in the vegetable area at the grocery store.
