cup butter or margarine

cups firmly packed brown sugar

tablespoons light corn syrup

cup whipping cream
1/2
cup raisins
1/8
teaspoon rum extract

    Melt butter in medium saucepan. Stir in brown sugar and syrup. Bring to a boil. Cook until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. Stir in whipping cream; return to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in raisins and rum extract. Serve warm over ice cream or dessert. Store in refrigerator.

  • MICROWAVE DIRECTINS: In 4-cup microwave-safe measuring cup, melt butter on HIGH for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Stir in brown sugar and syrup. Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes or until mixture boils, strring once halfway through cooking. Stir in whipping cream. Microwave on HIGH for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until mixture boils. Stir in raisins and rum extract. Serve warm over ice cream or dessert. Store in refrigerator.
