Raspberry Dessert Sauce

Ingredients

cups fresh or frozen raspberries, thawed
1
cup cranberry juice cocktail

tablespoons sugar
2
teaspoons cornstarch

    In blender container or food processor bowl with metal blade, combine raspberries and juice cocktail. Cover; blend until smooth. Press mixture through strainer into medium saucepan to remove seeds; discard seeds. Add sugar and cornstarch; blend well.

    Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens slightly, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Cool at least 1 hour before serving.
