Pepperoni Pizza Pasta

oz. (2 cups) uncooked ziti (long tubular pasta)

(14-oz.) jar pizza sauce

oz. sliced pepperoni, halved (about 3/4 cup)
1/4
cup finely chopped green bell pepper
1/4
cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2
teaspoon dried oregano leaves

garlic clove, minced

oz. (1 cup) shredded mozzarella cheese

    Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 8-inch square (2-quart) baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

    Cook ziti to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain.
  • 3
    In large bowl, combine cooked ziti, pizza sauce, pepperoni, bell pepper, Parmesan cheese, oregano and garlic; mix well. Spoon into sprayed baking dish; sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil.

    Bake at 375°F. for 30 to 35 minutes or until mixture is thoroughly heated and cheese is melted.

Expert Tips

Prepare recipe as directed above except omit mozzarella cheese; do not bake. Cover with foil; freeze. When ready to use, do not thaw; bake, covered, at 375°F. for 1 hour. Uncover; sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture is bubbly.
