Expert Tips

Cobbler comes from "cobble up" which means to mix in a hurry. And what could be quicker than a cobbler made with baking mix?

You can substitute frozen peach slices, thawed, for the fresh peaches.

Peaches are in season July through September. Let your peaches ripen at room temperature, then refrigerate, especially on hot summer days.

This cobbler dessert also tastes delicious served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
