When ready to grill, place pork chops on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals; brush with jelly mixture. Cook 6 to 8 minutes or until thoroughly heated and glazed, turning once and brushing occasionally with jelly mixture.

Expert Tips

  • Keep a spray bottle filled with water near the grill for unexpected flare-ups.
  • Smoked pork chops are available in the fresh meat or frozen foods section of large supermarkets or from your local meat market.
  • Mashed potatoes and deli or homemade coleslaw (made with precut cabbage and purchased dressing) are the perfect side dishes for these sweet-and-spicy chops.
