Marinated Mozzarella Eyes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 package (8 oz) bocconcini (small fresh mozzarella cheese balls), drained
  • 1/3 cup sliced pimiento-stuffed green olives

Steps

    In medium bowl, mix olive oil, Italian seasoning and garlic. Add cheese balls; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight to marinate, turning occasionally.

    Remove cheese mixture from refrigerator. Using slotted spoon, place cheese balls on serving platter. Top each cheese ball with olive slice, cut side up, for eye.
