Meat and Sauce

lb. precooked smoked kielbasa or Polish sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
cup purchased ranch salad dressing

Vegetable Choices

frozen cut green beans
frozen broccoli florets
Fresh baby carrots, halved lengthwise
Sweet yellow onion, cut into 8 wedges
Small new potatoes, quartered
Butternut squash, peeled, seeded and cut into 1-inch pieces
Fresh cabbage, cut into 1-inch wedges
Bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces


  1. 1 Heat grill. Cut four 18x12-inch pieces of heavy-duty foil. Place 1/4 of sausage, 3 tablespoons salad dressing and about 1 cup of chosen vegetables on each piece of foil; toss to coat. Wrap each packet securely using double-fold seals, allowing room for heat expansion.
  2. 2 When ready to grill, place packets, seam side up, on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 25 to 30 minutes or until sausage is thoroughly heated and vegetables are tender.
  3. 3 To serve, open each packet carefully to allow steam to escape.
