Antipasti meets salad, with ham and spreadable cheese roll-ups atop tender greens and bottled balsamic vinaigrette.
Updated Jan 20, 2010

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons light gourmet spreadable cheese with garlic and herbs (from 4 to 6.5-oz. container)
  • 4 thin slices (2 oz.) cooked ham (from deli)
  • 4 cups purchased Tuscany field salad greens (from 8-oz. pkg.)
  • 10 cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1/4 cup purchased balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing

Steps

  • 1
Spread 1 tablespoon spreadable cheese on one side of each slice of ham. Roll up ham; cut each roll into quarters.
  • 2
Divide salad greens evenly onto individual serving plates. Top each with 8 ham rolls and 10 cherry tomato halves. Drizzle with salad dressing.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
Chive and onion cream cheese can be used in place of the garlic herb cheese spread. Any salad greens blend can be substituted for the Tuscany greens blend.
  • tip 2
A glass of white wine and a crusty French roll with butter adds a touch of elegance to this salad.
