Tuna steaks grilled for dinner with mint and garlic - ready in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

tablespoons chopped fresh mint

teaspoons olive oil or vegetable oil
1 1/2
teaspoons finely chopped garlic (2 to 3 cloves)

tuna steaks (4 oz each)

Steps

  • 1 Heat gas or charcoal grill. In small bowl, stir mint, oil and garlic. Coat both sides of tuna with mint mixture. Refrigerate 15 minutes to marinate.
  • 2 Place tuna on grill. Cover grill; cook over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until tuna flakes easily with fork, turning once.

Expert Tips

Any firm-fleshed fish can be substituted for the tuna, such as halibut, swordfish or salmon.

If the fish steaks are more than 3/4 inch thick, increase cook time 2 to 4 minutes.

Line the serving platter with purple kale leaves for a colorful presentation.
