8

8
tablespoons shredded pepper Jack or Cheddar cheese
8
teaspoons mashed avocado

  • 1 Heat waffle maker to medium-high heat.
  • 2 Separate dough into 8 biscuits; split each into 2 rounds.
  • 3 Place 1 tablespoon cheese, 1 slice bacon and 1 teaspoon avocado on 1 round of each biscuit. Top each with remaining biscuit round; press edges lightly to seal.

Expert Tips

Satisfy everyone in your family by changing up the grilled cheese ingredients! Leave off the avocado, use cooked turkey, or change the flavor of the cheese to satisfy every eater.

You can freeze uneaten waffle sandwiches. Let them cool completely. Place sandwiches in a resealable freezer plastic bag or resealable container, layering them between paper towels. Freeze for up to 1 month. Sandwiches can be toasted to reheat, or placed in a lunchbox to thaw by lunchtime.
