Expert Tips

  • Satisfy everyone in your family by changing up the grilled cheese ingredients! Leave off the avocado, use cooked turkey, or change the flavor of the cheese to satisfy every eater.
  • You can freeze uneaten waffle sandwiches. Let them cool completely. Place sandwiches in a resealable freezer plastic bag or resealable container, layering them between paper towels. Freeze for up to 1 month. Sandwiches can be toasted to reheat, or placed in a lunchbox to thaw by lunchtime.
