Let dried thyme, garlic, and prepared steak sauce do their magic on sirloin steak.
Keep a spray bottle filled with water near the grill. Use it to douse any flare-ups that might occur.
Plan to prepare and grill the Grilled Parmesan Potatoes and Carrots, p.77, while you're grilling the steak. Coordinate timing so that each dish is done at the same time. Add French bread slices and your meal is complete.
To broil steaks, place on broiler pan; broil 4 to 6 inches from heat using times above as a guide, turning once or twice and brushing occasionally with reserved sauce mixture.
