To serve guacamole in avocado shells, cut unpeeled avocados in half lengthwise. Remove pits; scoop fruit from shells with spoon. Prepare recipe as directed above. Fill shells with dip; refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
Bacon Guacamole: Stir in 2 slices crisply cooked bacon, crumbled, with the tomato and green chiles.
Creamy Guacamole: Add 1/4 cup mayonnaise or sour cream.
