Extracts are concentrated flavoring distilled from ingredients or left behind after evaporation. For liquid extracts used in baking, the flavoring is commonly stabilized in alcohol. To enjoy this treat, you can eat the fudge with a spoon or, to loosen the fudge filling, run a thin-bladed knife along the inside edge of the cookie cutter and slip out the fudge. The cookie cutter can then be washed to use again.
