Caesar dressing adds the flavor wow to a complementary mix of Chex® cereal, cashews and dried cranberries.

Ingredients

cups Corn Chex™, Rice Chex™ or Wheat Chex™ cereal
2
cups oyster crackers
2
cups pretzel sticks or holiday-shaped pretzels
1
cup dried cranberries
1
can (9.5 oz) salted cashew halves (2 cups)
1/2
cup butter or margarine, melted
1
package (1.2 oz) Caesar dressing mix

Steps

  • 1 Heat oven to 300°F. In ungreased large roasting pan, mix cereal, crackers, pretzels, cranberries and cashews.
  • 2 In small bowl, mix melted butter and dressing mix until well blended. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
  • 3 Bake 20 to 30 minutes, stirring twice, until lightly browned. Spread on waxed paper or paper towels; cool about 15 minutes. Store in airtight container.

Expert Tips

Italian dressing mix can be substituted for the Caesar dressing mix.

For variety, mix and match your favorite combination of Chex® cereals.

No roasting pan? Use another large shallow pan such as a 15x10-inch pan with sides instead.
