Bacon Swiss Fun Bun Sliders

We just love these fun bacon cheeseburger sliders for parties and casual get-togethers. MORE+ LESS-

Ingredients

egg
Splash water
1
can (7.5 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated biscuits
2
cups French-fried onions (from a can), crushed slightly

frozen fully cooked mini beef meatballs (2 oz each), partially thawed
1
lb bacon

small slices Swiss cheese
10
tablespoons chipotle mayonnaise

    In small bowl, beat egg and water to form egg wash. Brush top of each biscuit with egg wash; coat top with French-fried onions. Bake as directed on can. Cool. Split biscuits; set aside.

    In 10-inch skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels.

    In same skillet, brown meatballs until golden. With back of spoon, gently press down on meatballs to form a burger shape. Remove from heat. Top each with slice of cheese; let stand until melted.

    To assemble each slider, top bottom half of biscuit with burger, bacon and 1 tablespoon mayonnaise; cover with top half of biscuit.

Expert Tips

Keep the sliders nice and warm in a low oven as you serve them.

Add a kick of mustard to the sliders to bring out the Swiss cheese flavor!
