tablespoons packed brown sugar

package (8.12 oz) Pillsbury™ frozen apple cinnamon mini pies
1/2
cup vanilla ice cream

    Heat oven to 400°F. Line rimmed cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper. In small bowl, toss bacon and brown sugar until evenly coated. Place bacon on cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Cool 5 minutes; chop.

    Meanwhile, place 4 mini pies on ungreased baking sheet. Set aside icing packets. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is thoroughly baked and light to golden brown.

    Cut each mini pie diagonally; arrange 4 pieces on plate. Place 1 scoop ice cream in center; top with icing from 2 packets of icing, and sprinkle with candied bacon. Repeat for second serving. Enjoy!

Expert Tips

  • Try with cinnamon ice cream in place of vanilla.
  • Make 4 smaller servings by plating 1 mini pie on each plate rather than 2.
