Pillsbury™ Place & Bake™ chocolate fudge brownies and powdered sugar bake up into delightfully chewy, decadently chocolaty cookies with crispy edges that are perfect for any holiday occasion (and beyond).

Pillsbury™ Place and Bake Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 oz) Pillsbury™ Place & Bake™ refrigerated chocolate fudge brownies
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Steps

    Heat oven to 350°F. Line 2 large cookie sheets with cooking parchment paper.

    Cut each brownie round in half crosswise to make 24 pieces. Roll each dough piece into a ball; roll in 1/4 cup of the powdered sugar. Place balls 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.

    Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are set. Cool 3 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Roll tops of cookies in remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Cool completely, about 20 minutes. Store covered in airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week.

  • For best results, bake cookies one sheet at a time on the center oven rack.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container in single layers between parchment or waxed paper in refrigerator up to 1 week. Cookies can be frozen up to 2 months. To thaw, let stand uncovered at room temperature 1 to 2 hours.
  • For a sparkly cookie, omit powdered sugar, and roll cookie dough balls in granulated sugar before baking. Bake as directed; do not roll cookies in sugar after baking.
