3-Ingredient White Chicken Chili
My husband always groans when I try to lighten up comfort food classics with chicken or turkey. Case in point: chili. BUT, when I tackled chili queso for college game day (pun intended) he didn’t complain. It’s because Progresso’s White Chicken Chili with Beans is hearty, filling and packed full of flavor.
So I can tell you this dip is husband-approved, but another reason I love it is how easy it is! Here’s how I did it.
- Empty chili into a microwave-safe bowl. Cook in the microwave according to package directions while you cube 8 ounces of Velveeta. To keep the dip “white” I used the queso blanco flavor.
- Once chili is heated through, stir in cheese cubes. Microwave in 1-minute bursts, stirring each minute until melted into the chili.
- Top with up to 1 cup of your favorite salsa verde, or green salsa.
Now, you could leave it well enough alone. OR you could really go for it and serve a crazy good dipper. Totino’s Cheddar Blasted Crust Pepperoni Pizza Rolls were unexpectedly delicious. Like, can’t-stop-won’t stop-dipping good.
