Caramel Apple Skillet Pizza How-To

Caramel and apples are a match made in heaven, especially when paired up in a delish dessert pizza.

One of the best flavor combinations ever created has to be caramel and apples. My favorite thing to do in fall is visiting the local apple orchard and having a nice crisp and gooey caramel apple. When I saw Pillsbury® Grands!® Caramel Rolls, I thought immediately of apples. So I grabbed my cast-iron skillet (who knew it was so versatile?) and got to work. Caramel Apple Skillet Pizza…let’s do it!

You will need apples and Pillsbury® Grands!® Caramel Rolls.

Unroll the tube of dough. Set the sauce aside...we will use that later. Unroll each of the caramel rolls into strips and cut in half.

Then lay the strips in the bottom of a 12-inch cast-iron skillet. Continue doing this with all the stips of dough, cutting them to fit.

Press the seams together.

Meanwhile, toss some peeled and sliced apples with cinnamon and sugar.

Lay the apples on top of the dough and bake for 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

Remove the lid from the caramel sauce and microwave for 10 seconds. Drizzle over the apples in the pan.

Let sit in the pan for 10 minutes. Then slice and enjoy the apple-caramel goodness!
