Nacho Supreme Pizza How-To

Friday night is pizza night at our house. We let the kids have fun and make their own individual pizzas. I’ll give them their own piece of dough and let them roll it out and put on all their own toppings. They have a blast doing it! It makes for great memories. 

Of course, my husband and I love a traditional pepperoni pizza and the kids love plain cheese. But sometimes we change it up and I get inspired to make something out of the ordinary. There are so many ways to create a mouth-watering pizza pie. The combinations are endless! 

This Nacho Supreme Pizza is a new twist on taco pizza. I use Pillsbury® Classic Pizza Crust to start and then add refried beans as the “sauce.” The beans are topped with ground beef, tomatoes and green onion. What makes it supreme is the crushed tortilla chips and the drizzle of nacho cheese sauce! 

Start by getting your pizza dough ready. Press it into the bottom and up along the sides of a 10x15-inch ungreased baking sheet. Bake crust for 8 to 10 minutes or until it’s lightly golden. 

Remove the crust from the oven and let stand a few minutes. Then spread the refried beans evenly over the crust. Meanwhile, brown and crumble the ground beef in a 10-inch skillet. Once cooked, drain grease and top the beans with the ground beef.

Top the beef with the chopped tomato and green onion. Next, add the crushed tortilla chips and drizzle evenly with the nacho cheese sauce.
Bake pizza for 8 to 10 more minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
