Make it Together: Kid-Friendly Meatball Pizza

Kid-Friendly Meatball Pizza
Pizza night can be even more fun when you let the kids help make your own pizza.
By Holly Lofthouse

Pizza night is a big deal at our house. We have it at least once a week! I love to use Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust because it’s so delicious and saves on time! My kids love helping me out with the pizza making, because it’s so fun and this pizza dough is so easy for them to use.

Usually, we let everyone have a turn picking out which flavor of pizza we will make. My kids are big meatball fans and created this super easy, and super yummy meatball pizza! With only five ingredients, your family is on their way to one fantastic pizza night.

Start by preheating the oven and greasing your baking sheet or pizza pan with cooking spray. Remove pizza dough from can; press dough into the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the dough evenly with the garlic powder. Bake dough for 8 minutes, or until slightly golden. Remove from oven.

This is where the kids can help! Once the pan has cooled, let them help spread pizza sauce, cheese and precooked meatballs.

Bake pizza for 8 to 10 more minutes, or until cheese is melted and crust is golden-brown. Serve!
