Movie Night Snack Triple Feature

Taco Seasoned Popcorn
Plan a movie night in with a trio of snacks that put the traditional theater treats to shame.
By Alyssa Vance

I don’t know about you, but this season has been the coldest winter in as long as I can remember. Up here in the frozen tundra, we’re starting to lose their minds. Just the other day, someone shared with me their new attitude about this winter. If they tell themselves it’s never going to end, they’ll be pleasantly surprised when it does. (At this rate, that’s likely to happen in May.)

At least this subzero weather means something good: a lot of movie nights in. Why venture outside, layered in gear to thwart the polar vortex, when I can make a hot meal at home and watch a movie from the comfort of my couch? If you’re on board with my film-fest motto, try one of these recipes for a movie night in.

Taco Seasoned Popcorn

This recipe for Taco Seasoned Popcorn is a three-ingredient easy way to jazz up regular buttered popcorn. If you don’t have Old El Paso taco seasoning on hand, just substitute a combo of your favorite seasonings.

Apple Stuffed Pretzels

Prior to trying these Apple Stuffed Pretzels, I’d never had a stuffed pretzel before. I’ve clearly been missing out. Everything about this snack makes it perfect for movie night, from the cinnamon-apple middle to the crunchy sugar coating on top.

Flaky Biscuit Pizza Snacks

Bite-size Flaky Biscuit Pizza Snacks? Don’t mind if I do. The only challenge with these guys will be making sure there aren’t too many on my plate because it’d be too easy to finish them all.

What are your favorite snacks for movie nights at home?
