Meatball Sub Bubble-Up Bake

Ah, the holidays. On top of school, work and everything else that normally fills your day, add parties, family commitments and travel — now your to-do list is two feet. Coming up with quick dinner ideas the whole family will love is probably low on the list. But it doesn’t have to be! This delicious bubble-up bake preps in just 10 minutes and is perfect for those busy nights.

Meatball Sub Bubble-Up Bake

To start, you’ll need Pillsbury Grands! Homestyle original biscuits, frozen meatballs, an Italian blend cheese, your favorite marinara sauce and some diced green peppers.

Cut each biscuit into six pieces. Add sautéed green peppers, meatballs and the marinara sauce. Mix until everything is coated in the sauce and pour the mixture into a 13x9-inch baking dish. Spread into an even layer.

Sprinkle the Italian cheese blend evenly on top.

Top the meatball mixture with shredded cheese

Pop it in the oven for 35 minutes at 350°F, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown and the biscuits are puffed. Ovens may vary. If you're having trouble getting the biscuits completely cooked, try cutting them into 8 and baking at 375°F, checking for after 35 minutes.

Remove from the oven and slice it to serve. My family enjoyed a little Parmesan cheese sprinkled over the top, but that is completely optional.
