Ham and peas were some early favorites in our house when our oldest kiddo transitioned to solid foods. Surprisingly, ham still outranks the chicken tender in our house! This quick pasta dish combines two classic toddler foods in a way that mom and dad can be happy about eating, too.
Here's how I make it my own:
- Swap in fun bowtie noodles for the hard-to-twirl linguini.
- Add shallots or green onion, whatever is in the fridge, when sautéing the ham and peas for slightly more flavor.
- Make dinner a little more special by serving Stuffed Mozzarella Garlic Bread on the side.
