This fun and delicious spin on pigs in a blanket are the perfect and simplest to enjoy summertime! Kids and kids-at-heart will go crazy for the scrumptious balance between the buttery crescent dough, smoky bacon and whimsical fun!
You only need three quick ingredients, plus assorted dips and toppings. The Pillsbury Crescent Recipe Creations Seamless Dough Sheet makes the process even quicker!
Lay out the dough, and slice it into 8 even strips. If you’re using plain crescents, simply separate the dough into 8 triangles. Now twist a bacon slice around the crescent dough strip.
Then, wrap the hot dog with the bacon and crescent dough twist.
Lay the wrapped hot dogs onto a baking sheet and bake them for about 12 minutes, or until they’re puffed and slightly golden. Serve with ketchup, mustard and any other of your favorite toppings/dips!
