With life being so fast these days, it can be hard to make dinner and be sure it has good protein, veggies AND flavor without making a few dirty dishes and spending a lot of time on it. How amazing would it be if you could accomplish all of these things in the one dish? Minimal mess, maximum flavor? I feel like a commercial but this skillet dinner is as advertised!
Gather all of your ingredients: chicken, veggies, cream and biscuits.
Cook 1 medium diced onion and 1 minced clove of garlic in about a tablespoon of oil. Add 4 chicken breasts and sear on each side for about 2 minutes over a high heat. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon oregano, salt and pepper over the chicken.
Add the ½ cup cream around the chicken.
Now the veggies. Add 2 cups fresh broccoli and cauliflower florets to skillet. Top with the smaller-size Grands Jr biscuits
Bake at 375 °F for 20 minutes—until the chicken is completely cooked through and the biscuits are golden brown.
