My family is in that stage where getting dinner to the table at a decent hour can be difficult. With two young kiddos (one who is under 2 years old and very clingy), I often find myself tripping over their leg hugs while trying to cook.
This bubble-up bake is the answer. All you need is a package of refrigerated biscuits, frozen broccoli and cheese sauce, and a little bacon.
First, you separate the dough into eight biscuits, then cut each biscuit into eight pieces. I like to cut them into wedges to ensure even sizes.
Place the biscuit pieces into a lightly greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Microwave the 1 bag of frozen broccoli and cheese sauce according to the directions on the package then combine with 8 slices pre-cooked and crumbled bacon.
Spread the broccoli bacon mixture over the biscuits in the pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes and dinner is served!
