Bananas Foster Shortcakes How-To

Flaky biscuits and caramelly bananas team up in this easy dessert for two.

Throw a couple of Grands!® Frozen biscuits into the oven and bake as directed on the package. You could always use the refrigerated biscuits, but the beauty to the frozen bag is that you can bake one, two or more biscuits depending on your needs. 

While the biscuits bake, you can make the sauce. Here’s how: 

Add butter and brown sugar to a large pan, then whisk until they melt into a sauce.

Next, add a tablespoon of water to thin the sauce a bit. Cover and set the sauce aside until the biscuits are finished baking. 

When the biscuits are done, add some sliced bananas and cook until they become tender.

Split the warm biscuits in half. Top with bananas, sauce and whipped cream, if you like. Enjoy!
