A simple, must-make twist on traditional green bean casserole that everyone can enjoy.

Every Thanksgiving we make sure to have a green bean casserole. It’s one of those iconic dishes like pumpkin pie or creamy mashed potatoes – Thanksgiving just wouldn’t be the same without it. This easy five-ingredient version is a perfect add to your table, and is so easy that you can make it year-round. The topping is made from crushed Chex cereal instead of the traditional dried onion, which is a hit in my family because my kids are a little picky about onions. Plus, it’s a nice alternative for those who can’t eat gluten while still maintaining that rich, creamy, classic green bean casserole taste we all know and love.

Gluten-Free Green Bean Casserole Skillet

Preheat your oven to 375°F and measure out your ingredients.

Rice Chex, Green beans, chopped red onions, shredded cheese, can of potato broccoli soup

In a bowl, combine the can of soup, green beans and chopped red onion and mix well.

Pour the mixture into a 10-inch skillet making sure it’s evenly spread out.

Cover the skillet mixture with the crushed Chex cereal and cheese.

Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until the top is a nice golden-brown color.
