Great baking starts with the basics! Start your sweets right with these tried and true techniques.
- Are you measuring flour correctly? Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cup and level off with the straight edge of a spatula or knife. Never scoop flour to measure.
- To get every last drop of honey or other sticky ingredients into the bowl, quickly spray your measuring spoons or cups with Crisco® No-Stick Cooking Spray before measuring.
- Leave at least 2 inches of space around all sides of cookie sheets or baking pans in the oven. This space allows the hot air to circulate properly for even baking.
