Great baking starts with the basics! Start your sweets right with these tried and true techniques.

  1. Are you measuring flour correctly? Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cup and level off with the straight edge of a spatula or knife. Never scoop flour to measure.
  2. To get every last drop of honey or other sticky ingredients into the bowl, quickly spray your measuring spoons or cups with Crisco® No-Stick Cooking Spray before measuring.
  3. Leave at least 2 inches of space around all sides of cookie sheets or baking pans in the oven. This space allows the hot air to circulate properly for even baking.
