I made this cake exactly as the recipe specified and was thrilled with the results. So delicious! And the frosting is definitely going to be one of my go-to recipes.

I made this with butterscotch filling instead of chocolate. Man oh man, it was DELICIOUS!! Made it for my mom's birthday cake--did a 3 layer cake. It was soooo good!

frost "filling" on top (much easier than splitting a large cake and filling it.) Very wedding-ish! Way to go, Cindy!

I just made this cake yesterday and it is totally delicious. The icing is to die for. However, I did have one problem; the fudge topping was VERY thick and did not cover the whole cake (in fact it was so thick that when I spread it on the cake it was tearing the cake.) What did I do wrong? I used milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet and reduced calorie tub margarine (maybe that's why...too much "water/air" in the margarine?) I fixed this recipe for my moms birthday and it was a huge hit! I recommend this recipe to anyone and I will definitely be making it again soon.

It didn't come out as the prettiest cake but it was definitely the most delicious. This recipe makes a lot of frosting, though. I only used half of what it called for.

The cake was easy to make. I spoon dropped the fudge frosting to prevent the top cake layer mixing in the the fudge. It was very enjoyable and definately satisifed the sweet tooth!!
