Very versatile recipe. I used the Pillsbury artisan whole wheat crust and substituted ground beef for the sausage. I also added some frozen spinach right before the beef was completely browned. It turned out great. Definitely a recipe to repeat and to share.

Great recipe. I like the Crescent crust. I line the baking pan with no stick aluminum foil, dull side facing up. Leave foil for handles. When done, invert it and remove the foil.

Try this same recipe, but use crescent rolls on the top instead of pizza crust - awesome :)

This was an excellent recipe! We did not add the veggies, instead we made a "meat lovers" version. Add bacon and pepporoni, and we also added some cheddar jack cheese. Another thing we did differently was to lay down all the cheese directly in the 13 x 9 pan FIRST (this is upside down pizza!) then the strips of bacon (we didnt crumble it up), and then the pepporoni. We cooked the sausage as directed and added the pizza sauce- then poured that mixture (sausage & pizza sauce only) into the pan....next time we plan on adding some garlic!
