This coffee cake was EXCELLENT!!! I used flaky grands biscuits instead of cinnamon rolls, and sprinkled cinnamon on the apples and the biscuits. I had to make my own cream cheese icing too, but it was still great! My familiy is already asking me to make them again.

These were simply AWESOME. Made one batch according to the recipe And the second with a little butterscotch in the butter mixture. Everyone wanted the recipe. It was a good thing I purched three of them because I had to make more. I used honey crisp apples and they really gave this great flavor. Thank you again pillsbury.

This is very easy to make and yet sooo yummy , make it for home and to bring to work the dish is always empty by days end, I also added a touch of my own by adding carmel on top along with the icing and changed out the pecans for walnuts , just a great fall /winter warmer........yummy

This recipe turned out great. I used macadamia nuts instead of pecans. I used a granny smith apple. Half of the apple in small chuncks (which i put on botom of the pan) and I diced the other half of the apple and add to the dough mix. I also prinkled about 2 table spoons of brown sugar over chunck apples along with a drizzle of melted butter then i put the dough mix on top. I did not have any corn suryp. used aliitle extra butter and brown sugar. Thanks for the idea.

This is an awesome recipe. I don't cut the rolls and I don't add the corn syrup. BUT I do add cinnamon to the butter/brown sugar. YUM

This is absolutley wonderful! It's so easy and everybody loves it.
I double the recipe and put it in a bundt pan and depending on who I'm making for I will switch it up as far as more or less apples, pecans, walnuts.

I find I love a wee splash of the Great Mexican Vanilla I get just across the Border, tis the REAL DEAL, not that alcohol smelling vanilla in those expensive wee bottles at store!! This takes the place of corn syrup, albiet in a smaller amount, can be added straight to apples, as well! I'll be sharing this with more friends, today! Thanks again for this great recipe!!!
