We enjoyed the different taste for sweet potatoes. I used thinly sliced green onions and real baon bits.

I've never liked traditionally made sweet potatoes. This was the best alternative I've ever tried. Savory rather than sweet, the sour cream, bacon and green onions really made this wonderful.

I made this for an anniversary dinner for my parents who are watching their sugar. It made a nice savory side dish. I will definitly make again. It was a nice change from the sweet dessert like casseroles I have had in the past.

I made this dish for Thanksgiving and my family was somewhat skeptical of an un-sweet potato casserole but we all really enjoyed it, even my picky husband. I'll definitely be making it again.

Family enjoyed it but it needed a little more taste. Will make again. A nice change to our usual candied sweet potatoes, which has much more sugar and is very sweet. My mother (and others) was able to enjoy it and she is a diabetic.

This was a big hit at our Thanksgiving dinner! It's a great savory alternative to the traditional sweet version. Plus a little healthier depending on whether you use margarine or butter. I cut recipe in half since we were going to serve a lot of other side dishes. I also substituted Greek yogurt since I was out of sour cream.

Great to have a sweet potato recipe that doesn't add sugar! They are sweet enough as is. I made this for Thanksgiving and loved it. I used black pepper bacon and the contrast of the peppery/savory/sweet was great. I'm thinking of trying caramelized onions in place of the green onions next time.

A taste after mixing all together led me to double the margarine, sour cream and salt. Family loved it.

This was a delightful change from the sweet recipes we so often use for Holiday dinners. I put the chopped bacon in with the bread crumbs at the last minute to make a crunchy topping. I have found that bacon can get soft and lose its crispy texture when put in with a wet hot food. A nice "savory" dish for those who don't prefer too many sweets. This will be on our Thanksgiving menu.
